...which is why I haven't been writing....writing...writing. But at least I'm reading, right?
I have finished The Hunger Games trilogy (review to come at a later date) and have just finished the first Twilight book. I am reading the books with a bookmark with a cross on it. Oh yeah...I'm hilarious.
I'm still making my way through Persepolis 2 and if I would just put down the darn Twilight books, I would probably finish it. After that, I will read the Hugo book followed by Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer.
The first Twilight book I had on my Kindle. I bought the last 3 books second hand for a grand total of $15, but the seller couldn't find the first book. Now that I'm reading the rest in good old books, I can't crochet while I read. We'll see how this goes.
Oh - and having read 50 Shades before Twilight, I think a case can be made that the two are eerily similar: both set in Washington state near or in Seattle; both have dark people with pasts; both have people who are entirely too pretty; and both have characters that are entirely too sexually wound. Basically literary Grey's Anatomy...only with vampires and sadomasochists.
Back to my reading I go. I may come up for air in a few weeks and check in again.
